Amie is the Founder of Hope in His Vision. She has a deep desire to follow God's direction. Because of her faith, she was able to endure the great journey it took to get her  son, John, to America. To learn more about their story,  click here:

John shared stories with Amie about what life was like with blindness in Rwanda. He told her about his former classmates, and her heart broke for them.  Amie and John decided start a ministry to impact the underprivileged blind and visually impaired in Rwanda. Amie also works as a Child Life Specialist and an online ESL teacher and mentor. Amie is the Director of Hope in His Vision and also serves on the board.

John Hope Singleton is not only the Cofounder of Hope in His Vision, but Amie's adopted son as well. He is the center piece for the mission behind Hope in His Vision. Much of John's life was spent in a Rwandan orphanage and at the school for the blind.  Because of John, we are able to listen to the stories about the unmet needs of his former class-mates. John provides the knowledge that makes giving to the students possible. Without his friendships and resources in Rwanda, the students would not be experiencing the hope and love that are the heart of Hope in His Vision.

Aurora Stenulson serves on the Board as a representative of the organization and Social Media Coordinator. She brings an essential component to this team that is so dedicated to sharing God's love with these students.  Aurora has a passion and gift for composing and designing the website material for Hope in His Vision and blogging about all the things we do.  She and her husband Kyle live in Cody, Wyoming with their four precious children.  She spends much of her time homeschooling and caring for their children, encouraging her sister Amie in so many ways, and texting her precious nephew John.  She writes many letters to the students that encourage and uplift them in a supernatural way.  According to one student, "When I read her letters, I feel like all my problems are gone.  The Holy Spirit really uses her to speak to me."

We are thrilled to have Darci, a charismatic Christian, on our team. Passionate about serving and helping people from all walks of life, Darci currently dedicates her time as a massage therapist, which has been her occupation for the last nine years. She is furthering her education to become a Chiropractor so that she may help fill a greater need for all people to improve their quality of life. Her interests include playing piano, being outside with her dog, getaway trips, reading, and giving love and inspiration to those around her.

Manzi Jean d'Amour is the In-Country Director for Hope in His Vision.  He is a hard working husband and a proud father to his baby girl. He is also a teacher at the school for the blind and visually impaired. Manzi has experienced the struggles of an impoverished student first hand as a young child in Rwanda. Because of his own personal experience as a student living in poverty, he holds a deep desire to positively impact the lives of the Hope in His Vision students. Manzi holds an essential position and is the hands and feet of this organization. Manzi is a complete servant to God and makes sure to give God credit for everything. Manzi puts in many hours  communicating with our Board Members, providing information about the students in need, and making sure the funds are adequately used and distributed towards the needs of the students. His determination to contribute to this organization is apparent in all his efforts and prayers. In all he does, he is serving God.

Chelsea Galbraith met John while on a trip to Rwanda in 2012. She returned several times the next two years and in 2014 she moved to Rwanda to teach at a school. While there she helped develop a special education program and led several extra curricular activities while also serving the community. In 2016, God called her back to Texas to get her masters in Special Education and to become a certified Educational Diagnostician. She proudly completed this goal May 2018. Upon moving back home she reconnected with John and Amie and instantly fell in love with their dream: to bring the hope of Jesus Christ, education, life opportunities, and support to the blind and visually impaired in Rwanda. Chelsea is gifted both spiritually and with a passion for serving people with disabilities and has a tremendous heart for Rwanda. She has experience diagnosing and working with students with disabilities in both American and Rwandan school systems. Her knowledge, experience, and compassion are an asset to our organization.
